Been trying to fix that, but FTP is being screwy and wouldn't let me. Should be fixed soon.

I have no respect for browsers which can't cope with simple java/style stuff either

Konqueror doesn't have java built in (if it does its a very old [crappy] version), I believe you have to download it or a newer version at the very least.
Also, IE doesn't support newer java either, their version is still at like 1.1
Mozilla and Netscape use the newest versions, and the newer versions support different features as well as old techniques tweaked and such ... thus all the problems with compatability.

Lep - granted, but Java isnt a web standerd.
I'll be reinstalling gnome in the morning. I was just testing out kde 3.2. I can honestly say; it sucks harder than a dyson on turbo.

suggestion:
is it possible, to display the poll results at the top of each new page?
tis a small issue, but few threads require one to go back to page #1 as much, or as often as a poll does..
if its not possible, tis ok, but it would be nice not to have to go to the first page each time.

xcon, if you're using KDE, why not just use Mozilla?
Also, KDE is a fine desktop environment, however ... GNOME is a bit better (faster). But, I still like KDE
At least it isn't as bad as Solaris 7 barf

Random thing that might be nice- on a Poll, would it be possible to sumarize the poll at the top of each page?
Since it only appears on page 1, it makes it hard to comment on it when you're on page 2 or later without opening up a new tab/window with the first page in it.

Firstly, I cant delete my screens folder from my pit, so Lep, please rid me of it. Secondly. Both PitCrew maps are joint effort between mappers, so could you make it that instead of a map being attached to a single mapper, that it could be linked to many mappers. That way they all get the kudos, and there is only 1 download link.

WC, I can do that when the maps are released, otherwise it will be a pain updating/editing map details wise...

Is there any way we could have an indicator of what posts we've posted in? I know I occasionally lose track. A little black dot in the post icon a la many other pieces o' forum software would work nicely, or some other indicator.

You know when the cursor passes over a topic, it highlights it green? Perhaps you could have threads in which we post have green highlighting on them.

I was thinking about a cool [spoiler] tag that shows/hides text, but what you're suggesting is applied to tables and not standard text.

I think it would make the forums look crap if some things were
highlighted all the time. It could be cool if the highlighting on mouse
hover was a different colour if you have posted in the thread?

I have auto-login set on my home computer, and I changed my password while at college. I couldn't access the site at all when I got home, until I cleared the cookies. I got the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: title() in /home/leperous/public_html/forums/index.php on line 2

How strange.. what page were you on before it gave you that error message? (I can't see why it would give you that if you just visited every time)

I deleted it for that very reason once you got the answer, no point in keeping it and clogging up the database really.

What it should say is "If you are so certain...", which condences into "If you're so certain...".
"Your" is used when talking of something related to who you are talking to, such as "your bike" or "your daughter".

'Your' does not equal 'you are' or it's contraction 'you're'
Your sig contains an error.
You are now aware of this fact.

I hope I'm not interrupting anything here... I've just got something to post that fits the topic description
The quick relpy thing is cool, but it shouldnt put the browser window in focus when you mouse over it... that annoys me. Anyone else not like this? Or do you all like it this way...

I hadn't even noticed, I tend not to have too many things up around my
monitor at once but instead keep things minimised for the most part. I
guess for others it could get annoying though, and I don't see any need
for it unless its a technical reason.
