Post your real names here. It will be "cool" until Lep adds a "real name" field to the area around our "hip" "avatars."

My real name is Nicholas MacTavish Bundy. I'm 16.

Obadiah Reid, 21

This is also a wierd name. In my entire life, I have only met one person who said they had known someone with my name before, and that was quite a suprise.

not a weird name, if you takes its roots into consideration.. i have met an "Obadiah" in my life, its rare these days, but i bet 100 or so years ago it wasn't.

my wife has an uncle "Aubry" its very uncommon now, but not so much so in the last century.

that is mostly by design, through hardships, we have learned that people below 15 tend to be annoying.. a concept we have yet reserved for.. "Yippiy Ki Yay!"

damned few members have remained annoying very long, and retained a membership to the pit..

through necessity though, we have calloused up a bit over the last few years.. you have yet to reach annoying, but.. are on its path.

and thanx mucho gobs to all the birthday well wishers

real name, as you all already know is, Jon Edward Rickenbacker Jr. age 42

sadly, i think, you think, i was joking :/

let me put it another way.. the snarkpit is a collective of very forgiving people.. if this were a normal editing forum (a concept i strive to never see become a reality) you wouldn't have made it past the first day.. the owner of this site, asked you personally to drop the "yippie!" phrase.. you ignored him..

any other forum.. would have booted you the next reply.

be very grateful, we are not of the norm.

i know you have noticed, cause your signature now reads "I am an annoying m0ng" that was your first warning.. but you changed your sig by one letter.. thats sad

I didn't ignore him. In fact, I think I have "gotten around" the fact that people couldn't take it... If I remember correctly, I read to alteast get it out of my signature... I did.

Perhaps we can talk this over via pm's? Instead of flooding this post with our thoughts on this topic...

I too find it very annoying now...it would be ok if it was a sig, but that it isn't somehow makes it more annoying than it should be.

Alien_Sniper - I guess you will be pronouncing it correctly, being a
Celt rooted chap yourself.. it's G-will-um (obviously rolled off as one
sound. The "y" makes an "uh" kind of sound, it's a semi-vowel in Welsh.

Strange people that they are

55,000.. the strange thing is, you know, or at least vaguely know EVERYONE who lives in the village.

and whilst i am not racist myself, i did notice an upsurge in the talk
about foreigners and so forth in the pubs when we had a family of
African descended peoples move in up the road. the countryside of
britain is a strange, unforgiving place..

we also had an attempted murder on the local council estate! FUN FUN FUN!

[edit] 4 Million residents is small?
There's always Yanks coming over here and complaining:

"These arent real cities, come to America!"

"You call those skyscrapers? Bah! The ones in America are 50 times taller. Come see them."

"What? It took you 5 months to build that? Come see America, one will appear when you turn around!"

What they have collectively failed to notice so far is that I haven't actually GONE to America - despite their tape-loopish insistance in my ear. So what's their solution? Just ask again! Come to America!

Anyway, I have finally conceded that I must live in some sort of small village, because all (come) these people keep (to) telling me that it's not a real (America) city.

Err, just so you note, I'm not saying all Americans are like this, but a few which I have met are. Bloody irritating.
