This is very strange. The UK PCGamer front cover looks so much better than the US PC Gamer front cover; however, US PC Gamer gve Half-Life 2 a 98%. This shows how strict UK is with their games.

All that was on the front cover was the Half-Life 2 lambda logo; however, they striped down the front of the magazine till ther was just PD Gamer and Half-Life. Talk about dedication to the game.

I don't think HL2 should deserve 98% even though I haven't played it simply because not even sex gets a 98% (or higher) rating from most people.

I think he's trying to say the UK PC Gamer made the game look better
than the US Edition. Although no idea why it would have a worse rating
than the US just for making it look better.

I'd get it if I had a bloody PS2. They should port it to PC or
something. Well actually, it would look kind of bad on PC; you would
notice how low-resolution everything is. But still, I want to see what
all the buzz is about.
Yeah, try hooking up your computer to a TV sometime and playing some games, they'll look amazing on your TV.

But, I doub't it'll be ported, ever. Two reasons, 1: It isn't that popular. I'm surprised they even thought about making a sequel. Practically no one bought the game. 2. It IS a SONY made game. I know, that one's a shocker. But, one of the best game on the PS2 is first party... I doub't they'd port their low sales to another medium.

The new one looks so awesome. I think they said it's a prequel. But it actually looks like a parallel story to ICO.

PC Gamer US doesn't know anything. They're stupid. They're like PSM, before they had whorificating producers, they actually honestly rated games. Now everything gets a 10/10, unless it's REALLY bad. I remember back when good games got 6/10. And they were awesome games. The highest rating they ever used was like 8, I think MGS or something was the first game they rated as a 10 and then everything went to s**t.

MGS was worth a 10, definitely.
