Yuck... I don't think everyone has Steam though. Let's try some sort of WON server.

I think that's probably it for me - no more maps for HL1. But who knows, I might end up eating those words
I'm certainly not going to have time/patience for such a long amateur project again. All the same, I'm glad I did this.

Yes, yes, a short map, without a gimmick that will take a year or so to implement. I think it'll be rather healthy and therapeutic.

You're probably right. But I would have to have at least some gimmicks, even if they are just easy token ones.
I've certainly had enough of coding.
sigh I have to confess I'm getting the itch again, and ideas are starting to stream in as they did when I finished gmdm1. I haven't really allowed myself to think of other maps, but now.....
Still, I'm also getting the itch to play more badminton, go caving, go diving and write a book. So it'll depend on what needs scratching the most :heee:

Cut your throat.... "cut-you-off-root". Say it very slow with a strong british accent.

Is there anyone who still has this map? I'd like to download it, but I can't seem to find it anywhere...

I wish I still had it. It was nuts! It is a mod, though, working off Spirit HL I think, not just a map you toss into HLDM.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

Good luck finding Gollum, he dropped of the face of the pit one day. Never heard from him again.
