Well... I bet you would  But the difference is, these languages are
not the ones I know one or two words of  I say - Chinese I know the
least and yet I know most of the basic expressions, which are used
daily... so... I guess I am at a very beginner level in Chinese.

I'm sorry I ever started with the damn Hex. I'm too laxy to read anyone else's, and I am WAY to lazy to count out the binary. And, ANYONE can "speak" a language online with the help of www.freetranslation.com That's how I get all the german words I don't know when i'm trying to finish a sentence.

"groans"

Apparently, accents was also a boner topic to discuss as it seems to be being ignored like an anonymous fart in a crowd.

I think I am going to stop attempting to initiate a conversation. Safer that way.

Perhaps we can move the little girl to this thread too? How about we move her to every thread?

Dear Mr. Underdog,

Here is some advice. When you join snarkpit, just lurk for awhile. Don't post and get annoying. So far it's been okay, but soon enough, you'll get called n00b and start a big fight and it'll suck. After you've lurked for long enough, you will be abl to make topics that ppl post in just because you've been around a bit.

Your Pal,

Seems to me that the most verbal among us actually have the least to say. I apparently am not the only one whom opens his mouth with his brain stuck in neutral.

That said, if the ones who need to keep their mouths shut did so, it would be awfully quiet here abouts.

I wonder, is it me or Memorex?

and, Mr Nickel, I do not fight so it would be a bit one sided if the attempt were made.

I started posting even before I knew about the site! In your face Toast.

Made, dont over think stuff like this. Most of the time, people
will read 1/3 of the way threw and comment on something, skipping over
your thought. Though, I was going to post on that becuase I did
mention it in my post.

I find mid west accents to be the worst, its almost like a whine to
me. Southern can be ok when it flows, but when its choppy its
just horible. Black southerners do it best imo, they drop any
letters or sounds that pervent flow.

The girl from silence of the lamps had a very... strange accent, it was almost hard to listen to.

Jodie Foster. Is it that hard to remember? And she did a much better job on the accent then Julianne Moore (who took over the character in Hannibal)

Of course it was Jodie Foster, I omitted it since the movie is probably older than most members here and is not important to the topic no matter. She doesn't talk that way in real life.

and, She did an excellent job creating the accent. I also agree that after Jodie, there is no comparison. The second actress flopped.

Well... I started hanging around not when I joined, but more like.. a
bit later... just been around here not more than 6 months I think
And people already know me  (okay, not bragging)

However, in Estonia there are quite a few dialects. Such as
norther-estonian dialect and southern-estonian dialect. Also, a one
called Setu and Hiiu and Saare dialects. It is hardest to understand
Setu dialect, though, it is very little similar to the original
Estonian. Too much "?" characters  But understanding other dialects
is real easy. Saare dialect just replaces ? characters with ?, so
that's basically it.

I think Crono was talking to me anyways.

Let me tell you a story, I once had a friend in a school class who's
name I forgot, but we became closer and I didn't want to seem like an
ass and ask her name. So I went on for a few weeks no knowing a
person's name who I talked with almost every day. moral: I'm bad

Of course........not.

Unless, there is something about you we have yet to ascertain.

I have noticed however that, humor isn't universal. Oh yeah, we all know what humor is but, we all seem to never notice when or where its used here. Look at this for example. I do not know you, you do not know me. we both use humor in replies, yet, both seem on the verge of a serious miscommunication.

I have nothing against anyone here so far, and with your assistance I would so love to keep it that way.

Not a 100%. But hey. Who can these days? German is so ridiculously difficult. Sometimes I wonder why all these people who live in Germany speak such a hard language. And stupid as well (at least a little):
The new orthography reform is now being revised. And the changes they made so far are not better than they were before. Think of all the schoolbooks they need to reprint (twice) and all the seminars they need to do for the teachers.... Just useless.

About the disccusion above about lurking...

I never lurked at all, but i dont even think i have been accepted yet  . Someone told me about Snark and i was like "k ill check it out". It was an instant awseome and i posted a few maps. No one liked them so i just kinda looked at new maps. Then i posted in the forums and i have been checking them every 3 hours a day since. ^_^
Have you ever thought it was because everyone hates Win98 now?
I tried sniffing coke, but the ice cubes kept getting stuck in my nose.

My cousins are adopted from Korea and for fun they're teaching me
little stuff of Korean because my aunt and uncle want them to learn it.
Hana, dool, set, net, dasot, yasot, illgop, yhadop, ahop, yeul, dolly chagi, yop chagi, choji tul...

misspelt?
I think there are different forms of spelling. Here are the ones I know:

one to ten:
hana, dul, set, net, dasot, yosot, illgob, yodul, ahob, yol.

dolly chagi, yop chagi and choji tul..... are not numbers.
Never try to be perfect - just try it and make the best out of it

There might be, but I'm pretty sure mine are misspelt.

And those last three things are roundhouse kick, side kick and
something pattern. Trained Taekwon-Do for four years, so I learnt a few
things. Not very useful though I suppose.
