Do you guys have to wait until you are 18 or something? I suppose it might have to do with the state of public transport. We have a really s**tty train system.

Yea we have a s**tty train system too [usually coz people keep jumping
on the train tracks] but I was talking about the film ratings, we don't
got 17's we get 18's  but we get beer at 18  But I think driving
has gone up to that aswell if you are born during or after 1988.

Who cares you can either sneak into the film anyways, or even walk by
the usher and he wont even notice if you were 16 or 21! Plus there is
always the internet to download those movies. Most teens over here in
america get to do things way before they can "legally" do it (drinking
boos for one).

I'm not sure you quite understand what I mean about the trains. They simply don't exist in most places. When Europe was investing in rail travel, the U.S. was building highways.

Speaking of which, i've just saw how HL Source looks like. They charge extra money for this?! What a rip-off! They didn't even redesign the levels to take full advantage of the new engine!

Andrei, they never claimed that HL:Source was a remake or anything -
they said on many occasions prior to release that it was just a
straight port, and even showed pictures. Its not like they really
charged much more for that anyway - it was an extra $10 or something to
get HL:S, DoD:S and all of Valve's back catalogue. For people without
HL1 its a pretty good way to experience it.

They could have atleast bothered to fix the original's bugs, like that radioactive slime bug before "Blast Pit", where the slime is as hard as rock and static. Doubt that's on purpose.
