6 minutes later and several searches on both hddrives
Nope.
But I have to admit, Gwil seems to have a special afinity for that assault rifle.

I have noticed in the short time that i played.
1) if you have any ping lower than 200 you can do well.
2) these scores do not show how long you were there. for instance: Reno is better at fragging than i but sometimes showed up after me and ended up with less kills.
3) i was much more impressed with the stats/kills of people over 100 pings. sorry and no offense, but all you guys with great pings, some of your score is not skill
4) the server cannot handle 16 well, might be only my distance saying this however.
5) one of those valve maps, is to small for 16. the one with the RPG on the scaffolding i believe.
continued as i think of more:

Seeing this stuff only makes me want HL2 all the more. But then, who'll
be left to protest VALVes ev1l tactics with Steam? WHO WILL DEFEND
JUSTICE?

You know Orph, I used to think the same thing about low pings. However it still requires quick reactions and the like to use your better ping to good effect- it's a different type of skill to predicting where players are going to be with your bad ping!
Besides, even someone with 100 ping could easily go on a rocket-fest on that level.

Hehe, he's good too though, especially given that he has a ping
disadvantage. I found myself on the recieving end of his weapons on
many occasions  I have got any screens yet despite the amount I've
been playing, I'll have to remember to take some in the future.

Dang! That pic was hazerdous to my health.
Orph, you need to post a FCC warning before posting a link to it. I'd rather look at Janet Jackson's boob. :0

why dont we post cool pics and not pics of us winning?
I've gone 170:55 on servers and 12:80 on others. I personaly dont
find many of these pics intresting or funny, no offence.
I think we should have a stats page so we know who the true #1 is.

orph, stats pages show way more than a kill to death ratio, there are
wepon stats, time online, objectives (well not in DM), and a slew of
other fun facts.
Sure the guy who has #1 over all will be the one who plays the most and
dies the least, so you and I wont really do any better than top
20.
but it will be fun to see who gets the most stun stick or crow bar kills.

I don't think it would be, as the stats systems that exist probably
work based on players' steam ID, and so each person on the snarkpit
could enter their steam id in their profile and then some simple code
could just extract the details of that steam ID from the stats and
output it onto the profile page. Of course not knowing PHP or any other
web scripting language, I can't really comment on the simplicity, but I
don't imagine it would be that tricky, and certainly not impossible.

well, i admit i am a bit out of date. does anyone have a clear idea what a stat chart displays. perhaps we are discussing something no one wants once they find out exactly what it says.
i would be in favor of a system that clearly defines who is good, and not just lucky to have a great connection.
i certainly do not want to see 25 people with 50 pings every day flaunted.

well.. if we are to give ppl with low ping handicap, lets give ppl with low fps some bonus to the ratings too
