Counter Strike Source de_chessyard

In the courtyard of an old monastary, a game of chess is being played with pieces twice as tall as a man and as heavy as a buick. The chess pieces in the courtyard are in position to recreate the configuration of one of the most famous chess games ever played.

The terrorists must bomb either the white king or the white queen.
The counter-terrorists must stop them.

This is my second CS:S map, the first that I've released. I was originally planning to turn the chess pieces into models, but I took a few hours today (the 30th of December) to look at the modelling tools available now for HL2... and I certainly don't have the patience to learn how to use them without at least one decent tutorial to lay out the very basics.

Fortunately, using a cubemapped tile surface on the chess pieces has made them considerably more pleasing to the eye. This is more apparent in actual gameplay than in the screenshots. There's also a bunch of junk to shoot around in the alleys along the sides of the map.

Back in 1999 I made a map for HL1 for a group I was in called NetBastards. Since the release of the HL2 SDK I've reworked it to fit into the HL2 world.

There are three distinct levels in the map with the warm and quiet ground floor. Jump into the elevator and travel to lower ground to the office area with fluro lights and plenty of office stuff to throw around. Take the stairs, or the airconditioning ducts, to the basement which is used for storage and offers wide open spaces.

I've kept the geometry the same in the upgrade but have taken advantage of the new texturing materials and environment entities. The biggest advantage through doing this means it'll run on low powered machines (my friend tested it on his TNT2 card and was getting 60fps)

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch The pit

This is a remake of one of my old halflife 1 maps , I used this to get into the new hl2 hammer as this map uses a few tricks and traps here and there so i learned a lot about the new entities.
Look out for the buttons on the walls/roof and shoot them to use the traps on people.

Beta 2- Added more details and ambience and a couple of secrat places.

Final Version- Removed weaponstrip at spawn, added more details.

This map is basically a giant chessboard. I am in the process of making it right now. I think that it will be a pretty sick map if it is ever finished.

Counter Strike Source cs_dig

This map is set in a government complex that is doing an dig and has found something "interesting"(ok maybee not that interesting). Terroists have taken over the complex and it is the cts job to enter and rescuse the hostages. It features mulitple ways to get into the complex and the main movment is down and up its a rather tall map and not very wide. Its now complete but i need some where to host it. I have a private server but im on dynamic and its not worth listing the ip.

Counter Strike Source sim_factory

Sim_Factory is a Bomb Site map. With bomb sites at the north and south ends of the map. Counter-Terroists begin within a large factory that also holds bomb site A. Terrorist begin within a small building on the east side of the facility. They can choose to either infiltrate the South End Factory or invade the North Side Factory. Wander in the alleys and lurk inside the buildings, I took extra time to give it some extra detail so, enjoy! This is a fairly large map but, I believe it is perfect with the 15 spawns I put in for each team. I would suggest a slightly longer bomb timer 30-45 sec. This is one map that I am truly proud of.

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch Crimson Tide

This is my highway 17/coast based map for the HL2DM contest. All buildings are explorable. There is also a sewer area which I recreated from HL2 because I liked it so much.

Set in a Combine waste desposal facilty, This Deathmatch is set on three levels, with chutes constantly piping garbage into the destruction device.

Be warned, it's just as harmfull to humans as rubbish!

this is a bomb defusal map and the terrorists have to bomb the spillway doors or the generator room. and the cts diffuse likewise.

The map is set in Russia and the aim is to disrupt power or to flood the valley below.
