As I was reading my PCGamer, I came up to an article concerning
Half-Life 2. Aparently, Valve has decided to extend Aftermath
into several expansion packs; thus, they renamed the next release
Half-Life 2: Episode 1.

What are your thought on this subject.

I, personally, thought that they could've come up with something more unique rather than the Generic "episode" sub-title.
You know, I've actually got nothing to say

Seen that news some time ago on some site, yeah.

Oh well, whether it's called Episode or not, it sounds interesting. Not exactly the most imaginative title indeed but that's not a big concern to me.

I want the damn thing to come out. Its been almost a year since their
"expected release date". Other than that I have no concerns because DoD
Source rocks hard and heavy in terms of level design/gameplay/and art.

I don't mind when they delay games. Yes, It pisses me off a little because I want to play the damn thing, but usually they delay the thing to make it better.

Rushed games are not a good thing. Take Battlefield 2 for example. SO many bugs still not fixed since release.

Whatever happened to HL3

Quite frankly, as long as it isn't as buggy as crap, and causes weird
crashes that take my entire computer down (unlike the rest of HL2) then
I'll play it.

Hmmm. I dunno, I guess i really don't care what a game is named as long as it's a good game. Really, what does the word "quake" have to do with stroggs and spaceships? Kinda silly, but a great set of games, so: don't care.

I can't wait for Episode 3 when it comes out in like... 2012.

But honestly, I think those Episodes will be great. Opposing Force was great but it lacked the extra "lightness" and originality of the Valve games. From what I heared each Episode will be rather short (6 hours or so) but it's packed with good ideas and very detailed maps.

Why make HL3?

Honestly, Valve spent so much time and money developing the Source
engine, they deserve to milk the damn thing for everthing it's got
before modding the shift out of it for HL3.

Isn't HDR enough?

Yeah, my plan is to show everyone I'm an asshole. Unlike saying
something like "pardon me, but if you have something on yer tiny little
f**king mind
there frenchy, grow some balls, and state yer f**king case, you no-mind
little baked good.....keep bangin', im up for it.....",

Because that's

I just read a "news bit", says Aftermath is being released a week later than anticipated, on May 31st.

It also says they're well into working on EP:2.

I don't give a flying-ass-monkey what they call the game, honestly, I think we're a bit past the point of being sold on a name when it comes to Half-Life, you know what type of game play to expect and you know how much fun you'll have, so what does a name matter?

Also, the "content" sounds pretty cool. It's suppose to deal more with the G-Man's involvement in the HL universe. Says the Newell. (Link)
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

I'm actually quite curious how you get off the building. Maybe
you get your legs blown off, and there's 7 hours 'cause your vision is
fuzzy and you gotta crawl through the game.

"[size=13]Newell, interestingly, claims that Valve has no definite plans and describes the XBox release of Half-Life 2 as the ...first big retail disappointment we?ve had in the history of the company. "

That was interesting...
