No suggestions, but Versus rocks
Watched Sin City for the first time a couple days ago, thoroughly enjoyed it. Some parts were pretty predictable, but it was cool so that's okay.

If you dig Lock Stock, you'll love Snatch. So watch it if you haven't. It's also by Guy Ritchie and is remarkably similar, and equally awesome.

watched stranger than fiction
was really impressed with Will Ferrel in this, i began it expecting a repeat of Talladega Knights or Anchor Man, I had mislead myself. The author does a really good job too

I agree concerning Heroes Orph, and if Nickel was here I think you guys would have actually found something to agree about  , he loves heroes and lost
I am currently becoming angry with Heroes because of their teasers and long periods of time lacking episodes, also on the top of my list is scrubs

I watched the entire run of Lexx over the past few weeks. A crazy sci-fi/horror/comedy series, with the main cast being a 6,000 year old indestructible dead assassin, a psychotic horny robot head, a chick who's had her body transformed into a love slaves, and the cowardly captain of a giant insect space ship; the Lexx, who's as much a part of the show as the people.
Lots of good sci-fi, some not so convincing horror, but with a line-up like that, plenty of laughs.
Lots of excellent gothic sci-fi backdrops and scenery too.

watched Shooter today, it was really fairly good, another attempt on the presidents life but they actually did something new this time and the plot was really good

Grindhouse is worth a viewing (at the least).
Death Proof has some of the most intense car chase action I've ever seen.
Planet Terror is just ... Wow. Awesome.
The fake trailers just add to the mix. My favorites were "The Machete" and "Werewolf Women of the SS".
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

I watch Planet Earth on high def. It's truly amazing. I also like to watch sunrise earth in the mornings.(comes on HDNET). Another great show to see is "Alien Planet", also on Discovery HD.

Children of Men:
One of the best movies I've seen in a long long time, I really seemed like there was a world beyond the characters, that they were just a small part of. The continuous shots were done very well, the one near then end damn near blew my mind. The story does an excellent job of conveying 'you don't know what you've got till you lose it'. This movie is also among the few to have visual effects that are truly 'special', the first time I watched it the effects never drew any attention as being out of place or over the top, they were gritty, brutal, ugly and beautiful. I couldn't really find anything wrong with this film after watching it three times.
I don't see much of any similarity to Blade Runner though, don't know where the critics got that besides the fact that it's based in a dystopian future, and it's an awesome movie.

Shooter was the biggest piece of s**t I've ever sat through. It pulled out every cliche to support it's s**tty ass story.
Garbage film.
