Yup, saw it finally. . . And It Was Great!!!
Those critics were wrong, it was a great fantastic movie, it just slowed down during all of the talkative scenes. But the best parts were the begining with Obi and Anakin in starfighters that resemble Tie fighters weaving in and out of destroyers and reckage... down to the end were Obi and Anakin battle it out on the lava planet... perhaps the best light battle I've seen in the series. And boy, the fight between the Chancellor and Yoda in the Senate, was the best Yoda fight scene yet. Also they manage to get the comic parts right again when you see R2 waddleing to a hiding place, while holding a com to Obi, while two droids hunt him down; all at the same time, obi wan trying to tell r2 to fixe the lifts. You just have to see it yourselves.
Although AMC Frisco didn't get the copies ready on tuesday, I still got to see it 5 hours before anyone else. I just yerned to go up to the waiting lines after the movie, just 2 hours before 12, and yell out, "Ha ha haa! I saw it 5 hours early, suckers!!" but out of fear of loosing my job, and the fact that they let the fanboys into the theaters already, I didn't do it.
Man, what a great ending to the series. Its the movie in the pre-trilogy that we've all been waiting for.
You know, I've actually got nothing to say

You must see it in the cinema with the surround sound, huge screen etc
I will see it when the public dies down and there are tickets available!

I just saw it two hours ago.
Some say that the dialogue were intentionally made bad, to better fit into the "Saturday matinee" genre that Lucas originally envisioned.
I think that's just a lame excuse for poorly written lines.
But it's satisfying, nevertheless. Ewan McGregor was a very good Obi Wan, but Christenson was a bad choice for Anakin. It's too late to right the wrongs.

Really!? I never eat or drink during a movie. I find that very distracting. When I watch a film, I want to devote my full attention to the whole experience.
It's like eating popcorn and snacking on things when you play Half-Life 2. It's just not compatible for me. Besides, that could get you killed in game.

I cannot view a theater movie without a popcorn and a lemonade. The experience is just blah without them. shrugs
Eating requires no attention to accomplish. If it does for you Satch, I advise you to not be one of those drivers who do distracting things while operating a motor vehicle.

Yeah, watching people getting burned alive should qualify as an adult experience.
It's so dark, and it's so sad. I identify with Anakin.

spoiler, of course:
Omega, a group of friends and I thought he should have just dropped to his knees instead of yelling no. Because that was probably the worst part of the movie.

I thought it would have been better if Hayden Christensen (sp?) wasn't
a s**tty actor. Every time he spoke, or was on screen, he pissed
me off. I also think that some shots should have toned down the
CG. Sure it's nice, but it just detracts from the movie sometimes.
I thought it was a great movie, but doesn't compare to 4 5 and 6 in my book.

What were everyones favorite parts?
My favorite scene was the conversation between Palpatine and Anakin at that theatrical water show thing.
Actually, my favorite parts of the movie were whenever they were together, without the talking in the Vader suit, of course.
The main two things that piss me off about the prequels are:
A) Metichlorians, what the f**k? Seriously.
B) Yoda not training Obi-Wan. I mean, I like Qui-Gon, a lot. But, that was always kind of annoying. But, it makes sense why they had to add him.
Oh and as good as the Clone Troopers look, they should have made actual costumes for when the troopers didn't have the helmet on. It just looks bad when Temuera Morrison's head and Ewan McGregor are the only real things in the shot.
WOOOOP

I have many favorite bits, but my favorite of all is still the Yoda fight sequence. I especially like how he walks in on Palpatine and slams the guards into the wall.
My least favorite was the dialog between the bots. Battle droids have no dialog, they go forth and either destroy or are destroyed, they do not converse. :/
My most annoying moment, Yoda can levitate Mount Everest, but he cannot keep himself from falling several stories to the ground?

I liked the movie, but am still haunted by the annoying Vadar scream at the end - that one should have hit the editing room floor.

I saw it tonight, and I have to say it was the best of the last 3. But I still walked away a tad disappointed. The End started to drag, and then the rushed it to get you set for episode 4. I dont know I think Lucas lost his Mojo somewhere between episode 6 and 1.
Some of it was great and other parts were lame.. I give it a 7 outta 10.
I have to say though, seeing it gave me many apon many mapping ideas.
