Where is the "Counter-Strike sucks" option?
There is no history until something happens, then there is.

Right under the I have not read, nor care about Harry Potter option in your poll UnderDog.
Oh and I voted CS:Source. I wished they had gone with some of the stuff
they had in the magazines.. like the suicide belt, and the rocket
launcher.. but I know why they didn't.
FIXED... ( And I was referring to your argument with RENO in your thread )

I love CS:S on a really good computer. It's just great to run max
settings and throw smoke grenades everywhere without caring.
P.S. Its spelled Obesessive.

CS Beta 5.2 0wnz  !
Na'h, really, I hate CS. I don't know exactly why. Maybe because I
associate it with l337 12 year-olds infesting IECafes to show-off their
skill with the 4-3 on some goddamn killbox like fy_iceworld or fy_jungle. And me and my buds who want to play NFSU2 and
Generals have to wait for their loud nauseating asses to finish. I
love the way they think they're hotshots when I join but after 30
seconds of play, it becomes clear that they're not used to play on
"hurt me plenty" .

1.6 because I have become far too attached to 1.6's hitboxes and recoil spots, plus still in a clan for 1.6 and still better at it.
Reckless disregard for childrens well being, women and nothing but utter contempt for other cultures.

Best version that I played was Beta 7.1
And I got into CS after it peaked.

The first version I played had a scope on the M4.
I remember playing a lot of cs_docks.

Beta52, perhaps?
Docks was nice but suffered from a poor layout. I remember siege and
militia were very popular at the time as well. And then that goddamn
dust came along and everyone started playing it. It's sad to see how
90% of all servers play this map (and dust2) over and over again.

CS:Source is the only version that encouraged me to stop playing HL2DM...
Therefore, i vote for source for sure

Despite all the CS haters out there, I actually enjoy playing CS every now and then. But most of all, I like spectating other people playing. It's very strange, but I am a born voyeur.
HL2DM can get too chaotic for me. Bullets and phys objects flying in all directions so that no amount of strategy prevents you from being killed.

I started with CS:CZ, now play CS:S the most. I still play 1.6 and CZ
from time to time, mainly because of the maps. I can't really get into
the HL1 engine games as much as the source engine games, they're just
less intense and immersive. CZ has some excellent maps
(de_corruption_cz, de_truth_cz, de_stadium_cz, de_sienna_cz), the
problem is nobody on CZ plays them... It's all dust, dust2, various
assaults, and a boatload of fy_ maps. I like CS more than other
shooters because there are clear goals and rewards (ie blow stuff up
and get money). I also like CTF and BR on UT2004. The main problem I
have with CS:Source is the physics objects in the maps, you can tweak
your settings to make the bullet registration behave nicely.
Edit: just to clarify, I voted CSS.
