Where is the "Counter-Strike sucks" option?

Right under the I have not read, nor care about Harry Potter option in your poll UnderDog.

Oh and I voted CS:Source. I wished they had gone with some of the stuff
they had in the magazines.. like the suicide belt, and the rocket
launcher.. but I know why they didn't.

FIXED... ( And I was referring to your argument with RENO in your thread )

That made no sense at all. Not reading the books and not liking them isn't the same as playing counter strike and not liking it.

or..

Did you intend that to be lightblue? I hope so as I took you to be a bit more bright.

I love CS:S on a really good computer. It's just great to run max
settings and throw smoke grenades everywhere without caring.

P.S. Its spelled Obesessive.

I havent played any HL1-based CS past 1.5, I havent got steam HL and everyone said CZ sucked...

I prefer Source over 1.5. Its more polished.

CS Beta 5.2 0wnz  !

Na'h, really, I hate CS. I don't know exactly why. Maybe because I
associate it with l337 12 year-olds infesting IECafes to show-off their
skill with the 4-3 on some goddamn killbox like fy_iceworld or fy_jungle. And me and my buds who want to play NFSU2 and
Generals have to wait for their loud nauseating asses to finish. I
love the way they think they're hotshots when I join but after 30
seconds of play, it becomes clear that they're not used to play on
"hurt me plenty" .

Meh, I'm not to old (I'm still in highschool) and I play CS:S very
well. Usually im hitting upa 2.0+ kd ration. And, I have my own clan
and everyone respects me. The difference between me and the others....
I'm not such a faggot to people, and I don't go around saying im 1337.

HAL, whether your posts against Obsessive are light hearted or not, its
bringing down the maturity of the board and getting on people's nerves.
Note that other members don't act in this way - if you plan on fitting
in here, you shouldn't either.

I voted CS:S, mostly because I'm a sucker for graphics. I've never been
in to CS to any huge degree, so the subtle changes that seem to get on
so many people's nerves don't bother me in the slightest. Things like
the bullets ricocheting off walls, water splashes, smoke effects,
etc... just make it a far more intense game for me. That said, I
haven't played it in months - DOD:S is my current "thing", or at least
will be again when they get so new damn maps.

I think CS:S is best of all now, the graphics do it for me as well as
the physics. It all feels more real, more immersive. I don't play that
much, though, I played CS1.6 more (mostly against my brother, 1on1  )
but not enough to get stuck with the exact feeling of the guns and all.

I've gotten into HL2DM recently again and I like it much more. No such
waiting for respawning and just pure, chaotic fast fun...

1.6 because I have become far too attached to 1.6's hitboxes and recoil spots, plus still in a clan for 1.6 and still better at it.

The best version was 6.1Beta. It's gone to hell since then. I too played CS before it became what it is today. The first version I played was the 3.1Beta(or was it 3.2Beta can't remember it was in autumn 1999).

The first version I played had a scope on the M4.

I remember playing a lot of cs_docks.

Beta52, perhaps?

Docks was nice but suffered from a poor layout. I remember siege and
militia were very popular at the time as well. And then that goddamn
dust came along and everyone started playing it. It's sad to see how
90% of all servers play this map (and dust2) over and over again.

Therefore, i vote for source for sure

Despite all the CS haters out there, I actually enjoy playing CS every now and then. But most of all, I like spectating other people playing. It's very strange, but I am a born voyeur.

HL2DM can get too chaotic for me. Bullets and phys objects flying in all directions so that no amount of strategy prevents you from being killed.

I started with CS:CZ, now play CS:S the most. I still play 1.6 and CZ
from time to time, mainly because of the maps. I can't really get into
the HL1 engine games as much as the source engine games, they're just
less intense and immersive. CZ has some excellent maps
(de_corruption_cz, de_truth_cz, de_stadium_cz, de_sienna_cz), the
problem is nobody on CZ plays them... It's all dust, dust2, various
assaults, and a boatload of fy_ maps. I like CS more than other
shooters because there are clear goals and rewards (ie blow stuff up
and get money). I also like CTF and BR on UT2004. The main problem I
have with CS:Source is the physics objects in the maps, you can tweak
your settings to make the bullet registration behave nicely.

Edit: just to clarify, I voted CSS.
