'rescue me'? no ive never seen it.Haven't seen it yet; Germany got left behind....
batman begins was pretty good. and anyone whos seen it: who agrees with me that they will continue on with remakes of batman forever, etc?
I'm hooked on Battlestar Galactica - it makes both Stargates look like absolute crap.TAKE THAT BACK!
Cash Car Star said:about more batman movies what you said is what i meant. you can kinda tell when batman gets that Joker card and says 'ill check it out'
the other Batman movies. There will be more, but probably in the same style of Batman Begins - i.e. through the originals out the window and start from scratch. Let's be realistic here, movies like Batman and Robin are completely unsalvagable.
The Island - Let me preface this by saying I have no love for Michael Bay. That said, I thought all in all this was a very good movie. Not a classic, and a few overly stupid action sequences (the falling "R" in particular), but most of the chases were very well shot, there was a substantial, engaging plot and the cast pulled out all the stops. Ewan MacGregor gets about five accolades for terrific job with his double role. There were a few wincing product placements: the Michelob Light, X-Box, Aquafina - the bottled water of choice for morally reprehensible totalitarian regimes. A few terrific actors seemed out of the movie a bit too quickly, but I left the theater fully impressed from what I thought would be a complete waste of my money. Oh, and Scarlett Johannson is hot.
Okay, I retract my statement; on second thought, Battlestar Galactica makes both Stargates look like scatological child pornography.I'm hooked on Battlestar Galactica - it makes both Stargates look like absolute crap.TAKE THAT BACK!
SG-1 might have been great before, but without RDA, the crappy plotWhat fire gods, and when does MacGyver leave the series? Doesn't the
starts to show. The new Farscape blood helps I guess, but this current
storyline with crazy fire gods is pretty unwatchable. As for
Atlantis... No comment.

What are everyone's "guilty pleasures" that you're kind of embarassed of?
ReNo said:almost every one i know, including me, thought desperate housewives was great! house was pretty good as well. oh and i love the comedy hour on five, joey and two and a half men were hilarious (i dont see why you thought they were s**t?)
Hmm, guilty TV pleasures eh? Well I'm quite a Desperate Housewives fan, but while initially that lead to me being mocked, eventually most of my mates ended up watching it and really enjoying it too  Despite being for the most part pretty s**t, I also found myself watching "Joey" and "Two and a Half Men" a lot more often than I should have, and enjoying both more than I should have at the same time. Shoot me now.
Watched 3 movies yesterday that I hadn't seen before: Schindler's List, Dr. Strangelove, and Stealth.Terminator 4: Air Force ?
Guess which one I won't be buying on DVD.
