I had a girlfriend for about a year or so. Never really went anywhere, but nothing bad happened either  ( no arguments, fights, disputes, etc)

Around my age the average 'relationship' (which isn't really much of a relationship) lasts a month or two. I've had a steady girlfriend for 2 years now. <3.

Omegaslayer, your 2cents sounds like you need to be 50cent to have a girlfriend. So wrong. Women don't like men that over exert themselves in that respect- its called arogance
Then again, as the wise prophet once said-

"Honey, the guys on the internet think you're hawt!"
"YOU PUT MY PICTURE ON THE INTERNET?!"

Yeah that reminds me - When talking to her once over MSN, she asked me to change my DP. Well, unfortuantly you can choose it too ANY image of any size, and I accidently clicked the wrong image and loaded something...err...not exactly appropriate ,what is commonly know as a "Taurin Fox", something a friend of mine sent me. Its a picture of a "anime" fox (Taurin Fox) skrewing another fox, taurin having a 19" c**k.

I understand the adults taking the highroad with this thread ("look guys, I've had sex crew"), and part of me aggrees with them... but at the same time the innocence of this thread kind of appeals to me. So I'll bite.
No girlfriend at the moment. My last steady relationship lasted 2 years (although 6 months of that were the rocky on-again off-again type) and that all ended maybe 22(?) months ago (it'll be 2 years sometime in the fall). Since then I've had flings, which I thought would be fun but it just left me feeling empty. If you want a sense of how I felt, go listen to "Tiny Vessels" by Death Cab for Cutie.
And now, part of me wants the intimacy of a girlfriend, but another part of me is enjoying the time I have without having to feel dependent on someone else to make me happy. Alone, I get to think for myself, to grow, and hopefully mature some more. It's like I want to cultivate myself so I can enter my next relationship being sure I wont make the same mistakes that brought down my last one.
All in all, I wouldn't say I'm looking for love at the moment, but if I meet the right girl by chance...
Sorry for the essay.
