Let this not be another flying visit!

Things are doing. I got a girlfriend a while back, then she left me. Taking a vacation this summer to maritime Canada in a rental plane for 2 weeks or so. Cant wait!
And messing around with Gentoo Linux on my laptop.
/me wishes the simpler times of HL1 mapping were back.
I'll try and post a little more "regularly"

Hi there! I was wondering where you went.

Where I went? Well I cant exactly remember where I was when I left. But the last few events have been finishing my first year in college, moving to Gentoo Linux on my laptop, getting some new hardware on the desktop, notably a 19inch Samsung SyncMaster940B LCD screen, planning the ultemate bachelor vacation this summer, and, that about covers it I guess.
Unfortunatly, I havent returned to mapping, which is why I wasnt really here. I havent really been anywhere online. I just pop my head in a few places from time to time. Such as here. I've also been poking around at BuddyPic and CriticalSecurity although lately I've been more "active" with those.

Satchmo posts a lot at TWHL, he decided he fitted in more over there -
but you can certainly catch him most days if you want to persuade him
to come back.
Lep, having finished University + with a dreaded WOMAN IN TOW is busy
with real life. He rolls onto the internet every now and again but it
mostly occupied with other things, no doubt paying bills, shopping,
gratfying the lady and so on.

Well exactly!
S'agood reason a lot of us are absent, no disrespect to the younger
members, but a good lot of us are off working, tending to the other
half, socialising with colleagues and friends etc.
Having said that I have neither a job nor a woman so my only excuse is socialising at the pub

Gwil, the other half of us just dont have social lives and spend their time off work and awake in front of a computer screen.
its a good thing I went LCD before I got cancer.
Where's ReNo? (me looks at Jon's new topic on the map competition)

Need a hug Orph?
Edit:
I must be confused about where I am and who I am speaking to... This is not the free-love hippy haven of some other forums and I'm pretty sure Orph doesn't want a man-hug, least not from the scruffy likes of me.

My views may be narrow concerning Homosexuals but, I am not above a good hug ever so often.
Believe it or not, I do have male friends I care about like brothers and we hug whenever we meet after a long absence.
I draw the line at smooching.... A big line in the shape of a circle around us. Last one out wins. :dodgy:

lol I was really tired at the time of posting the comment about smelling, and while I still find it funny, I probably wouldn't smell you if ever we meet. Not to say I would avoid nasal inhalation in your presence, I just wouldn't walk up and sniff your jacket
