really- stoic/annoyed, and mopey/weepy. I can tell that she can
probably do more depth than that, and it was dissapointing to not see a
wider array of emotions.
The main thing I didn't like about it
was the abrupt mood changes- I get the story, and it wasn't as bad of a
story as I thought it would be, but it still seemed very choppy.

the wrong building, I laughed my proverbial ass off.

I just viewed "Closer" this afternoon. It's a relatively small film by Mike Nichols with Jude Law and Julia Roberts.So...are you in a coma yet?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0376541/
Nichols paints a pretty grim world where love is a game of deception
and manipulation, and sex is wielded by the players as a weapon.
It's no less merciless than a deathmatch arena, where the only
redemption can be found in loneliness and isolation.
The title represents a playful twist to the story. Even
though the main characters are physically intimate, they are impossibly
distant emotionally. Set in central London, the backdrop is
emphasized by a depressing
grayish sky. Harsh lighting and cold warehouse-style sets
reinforce the emotional desolation of the characters.
And fitting to the theme of treachery, the most seemingly vulnerable
character turned out to be the deceiver, and the one you trust the most
betrays you. At the end, no one is left unscathed and everyone is
emotionally bereft.
I don't need to reiterate that the film is aimed towards a mature
audience. Anyone who is into glitters and pyrotechnics will
probably drift into a coma before the movie ends.

If thats the case, you have an extremely twisted take on movies my friend :biggrin:Catwoman is pure s**t covered vomit. I don't understand how anyone can sit through that movie, not to mention twice.

it was on par with at least 90% of all the other movies that attempted to capture a comic book persona. What ... the ... f**k.
damned few movies do this well, so all you can really do is rate each of them against the other attempts to do it. apparently making movies based on comics is not easy, as most flop.
besides Duncan, most if not all the movies i post, someone has a complaint about my preference
